Never knew this until the other day.

Next time you pull up on your drive when it's dark, turn off your lights and engine, then as you get out flash the high beam. All your lights should come on and stay on (headlights, reverse lights, rear lights, numberplate lights) lock the car and walk away. They all turn off after about 20 seconds.

I thought it was just me that didn't know about it so I mentioned it to about 10 other vauxhall owners that I know and none of them knew either.

I've got that on my Punto. If you pull the main beam stalk then you can set the ammount of time in seconds up to about 2 mins.

makes perfect sense to me!!

if i wanted to check all the lights were in working order 20secs to walk from front to rear would be ample. obviously more of an issue with the brake light!

does seem an odd feature to employ and then not publish to general knowledge!
