In the library right click music and you should be able to export song list.

tried that, it wasn't really readable, I need something where it organises it properly rather than just having a massive list of words, numbers and times

you could try importing it into Excel as the file looks to be tab delimited?

I have just tried it and works fine, so go for that and delete any columns you dont want.

Ian that would depend on the filename so probably wouldnt be as accurate as doing it within Itunes.
