All my suspension is totally OE atm.

looking do drop 40mm using springs only, its cheap and gives the effect, but will it be enough to wear out the inner side of my tyres quickly?

corsa b 1.2i
15 x 6.5" with 195/45 tyres

yeah don't go more than 40 without uprating the suspension, although I would fit a full 40mm kit rather than doing it on the cheap.
