Had a go on fitting my quickshift last night.......got everything off exept for the balljoint thats connected to the gear selector? The one that goes into the gearbox....Is there any special way of getting this one off?

if you look on the linkage where the balljoint fits on theres a circlip holding the balljoint together. if you remove that it all just come off and you can swap it onto the new linkage

yep then the metal part come away and the plastic bit pops off

Is that an easy job? Get to it from the inside by takin apart the gear surround?

No. It's in the engine bay at the back of the engine.

Ah. Easy to get to on a 1.6 sport or just let a garage do it?
