15" are fine with 195/45 tyres (even when lowered).
Dropping the suspension would cause more rubbing, not solve it....
Also, make sure you buy wheels with an offset of 45-49mm, and also, it might be worth buying 6.5J (6.5" wide) wheels as these are available in 16's and will save you any problems if you want to lower it silly amounts...
