hi, to keep things simple, basically what fuel pump do i need to fit in my 1995 sri? which ones will work?

any corsa mpi pump will do the job..

ie, any from a 12v/16v or mpi 8v..

not an spi 8v pump from a 1.2 8v or 1.4 8v

i thought fuel pumps were different pre and post 97 due to the 8v/16v conversion?

no, some pre 97 had 16v engine.. GSi, late sri/early sport

ok ive just fitted the fuel pump, as far as i know it came off a 1.2 corsa, and it started first time, just took it for a drive but still seems as if theres a lack of power.is this because it came of a smaller engined car?

was the 1.2 an 8v, if so, that will be an spi pump, so wont be suppling enough fuel

yes as far as i know it was an 8v. so to get the right pump,what car(s) should i find to take it off?
