Right keeping the corsa a while longer...as when i talk about getting a faster car the missus dont like it also i put the softstars back on after 3/4 months of steelies yesterday and she looks sexy agen!
so first thing is the lower it...gonna put max of £500/600 into it now and then out comes the VTS saving tin so thinking suspension £300, the rest of a badgless grille here, bit of paint there and maybe a gsi kit or summat to tidy it up...the 1.4 lump is pretty healthy and still low mileage on it at 64k so cheap motoring for a while longer
Sooo....
what suspension shall i go for with budget of £300?? want summat with abit of quality really...not like a go kart...was thinking just gmax kit 60mm but maybe spend a little more for a little more like
will get a project thread going soon...as may well turn into an XE building thread

Just the adjustable yellows, springs and shocks, I had them on my Corsa a few years back and they were fantastic IMO.
I can have a look at a price for Bilstein tomorrow for you too if you'd like?

My Koni kit was -40mm, but I ran it with -60mm springs (£60 more)
I never had issues with rear beam to exhaust interaction

You can normally buy the shocks only, then you can use whatever springs you'd want.

i got my kit (AVO) from Demontweeks, £240 and a days work the car was lowered 35mm and handles how it really should have from the factory, sits flat on acceleration hugs corners and little compromise with ride, only really noticeable at low speeds
well worth it!!
(check garage for photos)
