Welcome

1.4 sport would be a good idea as well

Lower tax, 4 insurance groups lower too but only 15bhp difference

a) its not a quick car

b) they arent cheap insurance, as they are seen as boyracer cars by the insurance, it cost me more to insure my corsa gsi, then it did my megane coupe 2.0 16v, the megane coupe is also a group 14

agree with steve on that one, when i was 17 i had a 1.2 nova insured for £1300 i could have got a MK4 astra 1.8 16v for £850 a year. Or a Focus 2.0 16v Zetec for £900.

TBh i think youl struggle with insurance on a 1.6 sport.

i changed my insurance from a Corsa GSI to an Astra Coupe Turbo and it went up by £50

and Welcome matey
