kangaroojack Came up on the weekend to buy some wheels from me.
He is 17 an has been driving for 3 months.
His car is a R reg corsa with a 1lt 12v engine, coilovers, exharst and alloys.
He is paying £2800 per year on his mums policy.
Thats £54 per week just on insurance.
Never mind fuel in the car to run it, and a corsa on TB can easy take £10 per day
I would be looking at how yours going to insure a car and pay for it plus the outlay af around £3500-4000 to buy the car........

I paid £1300 for a £200 F reg VW Polo 1.0.
Buy the corsa and the engine as a project. When your 20 and with 3 years no claims, then think about getting it on the road.
Just run some shitter into the ground for the 1st 3 years.
Don't worry, it seams along way away, but trust me, it'll fly by.
