British and American warplanes are attacking artillery units in southern Iraq, the Pentagon has said.

Officials told Sky News that ten artillery pieces have been destroyed.

The B52's are being loaded at fairfield as well apparently and 17 iraqi soldiers have already surrendered to the US.

From Sky News: BOMBERS PRIMED FOR WAR

American B-52 bombers based at RAF Fairford are being loaded up with bombs and ammunition.

Convoys of lorries carrying explosives are travelling with a police escort along the runways to prime the massive planes.


Fourteen bombers are based at the site near Cirencester in Gloucestershire.

They are expected to lead any attack on Iraq where their fiercesome firepower will come into play.

they should call all the sylum seekers muslims and iraqis that live in england and trying to get into england up that way ther wouldnt be a war coz they would all go home and wouldnt come near our country again
