well i just bought some nxt tech wax (megs) as i was told it would be best for my gti paintwork (black) but its absolutely shite!! didnt do anygood, just sorta smeared into paintwork, i didnt use too much either, i found the carbana wax (or w/e its called) much better...

but what would you lot recommend for black paintwork,...

again, the problem with Meguires stuff, its so hard to use, if you had spent ages on it, it would have eventually buffed up, but its so greasy it takes ages.

Again as ive already mentioned, use a paint cleaner, then Autoglym Super Resin Polish, then a good wax.

In your case if you wanted to stretch to the cost of Dodo Juice then get Purple Haze or Blue Velvet,

If your on a budget, then Collinites or Natty's Blue would be fine
