Right, I'm looking to buy a C and I know the Corsa B's are very weak when it comes to someone breaking in to your car by bending the door....
Just wondered if anybody knows if this is the same case with the Corsa C's.
Any advise welcome

so is this a problem that just the corsa has, or is this a weak point on all cars. (not just vauxhall)
Would a desent alarm go off before any vandals do the damage.?

Weak point on most cars tbh. I work at a Car repair place, mainly for insurance jobs. We get loads of old cars that have been stolen like that. Corsa's, Nova's, Mondeo's, Saxo's etc.

as said, only thing that can really prevent this is an alarm.

An alarm wont prevent it.

My toad ai606 does, the proximity sensor sets the alarm off even if someone walks past it and everytime i hear it i run to my car hence stopping someone breaking in

But someone is less likely to continue breaking into your car when the alarm is going off its tits. Gives them a lot less time.

Someone broke into my sisters house last week, its a 350k house, i a quiet couldisac in the corner, its got an alarm, and beepers on the doors when you open them, tried breaking in through the side, no luck, went to the front, got in, alarm going off, beeper on door went off, they only ran out when they heard my sisters husband coming downstairs, luckily didnt get anthing, but alarm didnt stop them, they still carried on.

People these days hear a house alarm going off and don't think anything of it other than "I wish they'd turn that f*cking alarm off ffs" etc.

A car parked in a street or road can be more easily seen than the side or back of a house?
more people generally look and see whats happening when a car alarm goes off?
Mostly to scream at the owner to turn it off,but a car alarm will prevent it.
As soon as i hear my alarm im straight out as it happens i was out in m street in my boxers at 3:30 am because a cat set the alarm off by sitting on it and usually a theif doesnt want to a chase of an owner for fear of getting caught so theyre more likely to pick on a car without an alarm
