I may be totally missing the point, but silicon isn't a hard / sturdy material?

Its more sturdy than air

Ive done it to my nova mounts, works fine and does stiffen them up, but not overly stiff for road use.
Just do them ages before you want to fit them, as the amount of tigerseal you have to use takes a long while to dry.....

usually do it on 2.0 conversions as they tend to eat engine mounts!
