My 55 plate 1.4 16v Twinport ticked around 18k. Injectors get a bit noisy apparently.
Mates 1.2 on an 02 plate did the same on 15k ish.
My pug at 10k does it from cold. I just blaime that on it being French though Runs sweet though

the timing chain recall only replaces the chain itself, not the tensioner. vauxhall comissioned special tools to take the links outta the old chain, attach the new chain and turn the engine over, thus winding the new chain onto the engine (if dat makes sense haha). it may possibly be in the recall bulletin number, but i doubt it because u would of recieved a letter about a year and a half ago when about 200,000 corsa's had the same one, but its worth a try! give us your reg pal, ill type it into vxcare when i get to work in the mornin.

the timing chain recall is not applicable anymore apparently, only vehicles selected in the chassis range are affected. however, your car is due for an ABS recall, this needs to be done as soon as possible, contact your local vx dealer.
