iv had trouble with it before when iv taken the memory card out and it not registering it when if taken it in and out a few times but this time it just will not pick it up at all 
any ideas on what i can do? i do have insurance on it but its a bit of a weak reason imo to get it replaced.
phones a htc touch btw
edit: also how long is it till you can upgrade your phone? / what happens if i want to cancel the contract (with orange on an 18month on started in sept 07)

it would probably be covered under the manufacturer warranty that
its usually the last month of your contract for an upgrade or if you wish to cancel early you have to pay the remainder of the line rental etc... came out at over £300 when i wanted to cancel mine

hard reset
whip out the battery and sim, put the battery in and elave on for a few mins then replace the sim, cures a lot of things

its not the sim tho its the memory card that wont be picked up

getting a replacement sent throught tomorrow 
one slight thing that annoys me with orange  is the fact they want to charge me for the replacment phone  im sorry i pay £8 a month for insurance why do i have to pay more to use the insurance??
luckily im not paying anything extra this time but she was like 'iv managed to stop you paying it' *i think too friggin right im not paying it* [/rant]

no they've taken the old one with them and guess what this one still has the same problem  the phone just wont pick up the card at all it isnt the card as that works in my mates phone but it just doesnt want to work on mine and my mates card doesnt work on my phone either any help?
