hay all
i got myself a c20xe and i want to decode the engine number so if anyone can help it would be great
also is there any after market manfuacturesrs who make the GSI body kit?
i.e. skirts, L's, and front bumper ?

c=euro 1 emissions legislation
20=cappacity (2000cc)
x=compression ratio 10 to 11.5:1

i dont know what you mean by de code it mate but i just read mine off the plate on the block on the right handside it will have the numbers there starting 14****

basicaly i need to be able to decode the engine code to determin the year it was made, where it was made, the plant it was made at. ect
it is just funy but the engine number starts

Do you know the reg of the car that the engine came from?
I know what you mean though, sometimes i can't tell what cambelt people want on vectra V6s and i need the engine number, and no, i dont just mean X25XE
