Can it not be turned on via vagcom or anything robin because thats really annoying.

Mine wasn't working for a while and I left them on constantly, ended up getting a new BCM.

Hopefully but ill be removing the fuses for the sidelights tomorrow, partly fro this reaosn, partly for anotrher

Suprised there is a tone when you open the door with the ignition off tho. Mine has a tone so I would have thought the golf would be the same

@ no side light warning on a 20K car.

I assume it's been delocked for the security flaw on VAGs rather than the looks? . I also have one here sprayed up to do mine. Hope my boot lock doesn't break in the future

yeah it actually was done for security reasons lol, i would have done it for cosmetic reasons though lol
