Had the Volvo for a few weeks now, probably the best car ive had yet, and hopefully this one is here to stay for a good while as ive wanted one for ages.
Got it home and gave it a quick wash and chamois and it looked like this
Only just had chance this weekend to give it a proper clean and a few layers of wax, also painted the slats on the grille satin black as it looked rubbish in chrome.
only plans now are to refurb or replace the wheels with some others, and not alot else really apart from keeping it clean and healthy.

Very nice. In your face colour gets away from the bland Volvo image too. Most people appricieate a sporty Volvo though! 310bhp sounds too!

it does sound sweet as it is, they dont get much louder than standard with aftermarket exhausts.
I am tempted to get a 3 inch race downpipe and cat though and a custom system to match.
Grille wise, im keeping the one it has now, the mesh ones and eggcrate ones like Mav has look crap IMO without the Volvo logo,

Few pics of the refurbed wheels and new tyres.
Also, a bit of proof that a couple of layers of a top quality wax does play dividends, the car has not been cleaned for 2 weeks and has done over 130 miles in mainly wet weather with a few damp drives and has also been sat outside in the rain all that time too, its only just been really dry today and still looks very clean, although it could have done with a bit of detail spray, but I couldnt be bothered and went for a drive instead.

Very nice.
I'd just get it re-maped and stick a badgeless grill on that

Its already re-maped and the grille is here to stay, badgeless ones look crap in my opinion.
If i am going to change the grille it will be for a later C70 eggcrate one that still has the volvo logo.
