All shot with Nikon D200 and 85mm F1.8 with ISO between 200-640 at around f2.8
Shot using window light only, overcast day.
My mates kid is just the most photogenic kid ever!

It takes a lot of time and 1000's of photos before you are happy with what you take, it took me many years before I got photos to look like I wanted them to look. It helps having good equipment too mind you - as snobby as that sound. The bokeh on this lens makes it amazing for portraits, compared to a cheap lens the difference just jumps out at you. I took maybe 20 photos and out of that 20, maybe these 4 were the best, the others had focus / composition issues etc.
Trouble is, now I have reached where I want to be, I now want to be even better and here's hoping that in a few years i'll be at my next stage of self-advancement. Keep aiming higher all the time.
