one of the following:
Metal plate on the damper hitting the car body,
Spring chatter (spring compressing so the coils touch each otther)
Exhaust hittting backbox/spear wheeel well
Fucked dampers.

U got bumpstops on them? Check the lower damper bush for play when the axle bolt goes through it. It could be a variety of other things... Springs moving about, exhaust hitting off bumper, broken heatshield etc.

i had exact same problem. swap the Spax shock mounts with the standard corsa ones and that will fix it. Don't ask me how, but it works

ahh, the bushes are about 12/13mm ID.
whereas the sleeve is approx 9mm ID.
may drill it out to 10-11mm.
did yours usedto knock martin?

woo fixed
yo need to drill the centre of the sleeve out to 11mm then slide over the spax one before using the bushes.
no knocks
no squeeks.
only thing is, the topnuts a bit more difficult to catch now, but once its caught, it pulls down nicely.
