I didnt say he couldnt speak ANY English, as have heard him do a press conference about 2 months into his spell with us. What I did say was he couldnt banter/abuse the ref as Im almost certain after 7-8months in a country that his ability in English won span that far.
And as for the 'dive'. I did at first thought he dived, infact had no doubt about it in my mind. Then if you watch the reverse angle replacy you can see his standing leg gets knocked, which when both him and the defender are pacey guys is enough to send him over.
Either way, I see them given for and against teams every week, and expect people to get arsey about it....tough shit tbh.

Dove
Taken from Dictionary.com:
Both dived and dove are standard as the past tense of dive.
Dived, historically the older form, is somewhat more common in edited writing, but dove occurs there so frequently that it also must be considered standard: The rescuer dove into 20 feet of icy water.
Dove is an Americanism that probably developed by analogy with alternations like drive, drove and ride, rode.
It is the more common form in speech in the northern United States and in Canada, and its use seems to be spreading.
The past participle of dive is always dived.
Now take your Americanised version of our great language and fuck off with it.
Dove? Not here in the UK.
Dived? Yes, thanks

I do have to agree with Jules aswell tbh, dont think I'd say dove.
You should always check with your bro before you question someones English on here, as Wiganers struggle at the best of times, but considering your bro got the brains in your family you'll obviously struggle even more.
