friend has just got a brand new beast PC which should easily play COD4

but it crashed when he loads it

he hasnt got broadband yet? its hooked up to a brand new sony tele

This is why games are best on a console. CBA with the dicking around everytime you want to play a different game. That doesn't help you tho. My advice...get a 360.

really depends it needs quite a beefy graphics card to run it.

Mine used to crash when loading the multi player.
Said something like 'iw3mp has stopped working'
Was because I was using vista and onboard sound. A google search should show some solutions if thats the problem.

Single player worked perfectly though. Don't know if thats any help.

If hes using Vista try right clicking the shortcut and making it compatible with XP.

People who moan about PC's - all they do is what you tell them (for now ), if you tell them to do something wrong they will

Also, I dont think it does need a 'beefy' card to run it tbh, the engine is pretty good so it can be played on a pretty mediocre computer, albeit on a very low setting. If the above doesnt make any difference, do the driver thing, and if that doesnt help simply try reinstalling it, maybe a folder or file got corrupted during the process

Vista works fine with COD 4 i had it running no probs on ultimate

How can people moan about a pc's when consoles have been gettin more like pc's every year?
