Iv come to the conclusion these are a waste of time and as a result am going to put my standard airfilter box with a k and n panel filter. I believe this will work far more efficiently. neone agree

trouble is my engines so compacted into my engine bay that hot air builds up around the piper x ind kit thus making it "bog" down at times when it gets hot

Then you need a sealed air filter, such as a Pipercross Viper kit. I have had no overheating problems since moving over to this.
The standard airbox + panel filter is often the best route though.

i agree, have taken off my K&N cone and gonna get a panel filter. they r all in the mind, sound louder so people think they going faster, if anything it made my sit still in the rev's and just growl.
Got a K&N 57i and recharge kit now, just sitting under my bed....

I found this out after 3 different kits. They seemed fine at first, but it was just the noise convincing you that the car was pulling better. I tried K+N, Jetex and Green cones before switching to a jetex panel filter with carefully drilled airbox. This was the best combination I found.
