Right....

when idlling car sits at about 1000 rpm where it shoould,

however when going along the road and between changing gears it remains at 2000, 3000 doesn't drop instantly when clutch is put in ???????

dont think access is to god to this though should be easy to find by tracing the hose that goes to it from the throttle body
