Have a few questions i need answering..
How is the clutch operated on these, is it mechanical or hydraulic?
How are the gears selected, rod, cable or a direct selector out the box?
Finally whats the tuning potential of these?
Cheers guys

Jackson Supercharger is the general route, lower the VTEC limit to 4k, Hondata remap in addition to usual routes

I've been looking at these ALOT.
Tuning potential other than a supercharger is limited, and even with that you'll be wheelspinning it in 3rd at full chat even on dry roads. Some people get through tires like water.
Better off looking at doing the suspension and stripping it for even less weight.
I wouldn't have said lowering the VTEC would do much to be fair, the engine is so well tuned as standard I don't think the different cam profile would help with so few revs.

S2k's kick in at 5.7k anyways as opposed to the 6.2k where the CTR's kick in... VTEC reduction is a very common mod

Yeh, I know they do that on other honda engines, but not sure its quite so responsive on this particular one................there are a few ECUs which increase the overall rev limit, but I'm not sure I've come across a lowered one........until you prove me totally wrong

Don't think so, I've just done a load of searches on an S2K specific forum and can't find anything related to lowering the VTEC point, only raising.

Is a bit old, but the engines haven't changed much. This is slightly newer....

I can only guess that the engine really is squeezing out every last drop of performance, as not much seems to make much of a difference.
As I say, suspension and weight saving would be a much wiser route to take.
