Why not get a fast car and spend the rest on insurance??
Punto GT for 5K then insurance for 2K??
Astra Sport 1.8 6K then 1K for insurance??
Don't know your insurance situation like!

mark4 early mark5 polo, love my missus one, the 1.3/1.4 is a good engine fairly torquey for its size and bhp compared to other similar cars

you'd get a mark 5 for that money as well, insure it and possibly get wheels/basic mods etc..

dont know, but I love my missus's car, shes got a mark4 1.3, but its got a bit of poke (remembering mines a 1.2 8v that u can walk quicker than)
Go on liverpool victoria and get an online quote for a rough estimate
