is there anyway to bleed the air out of these once fitted?
also at what temp does the thermostate open in the sandwich plate?

Only by fannying around with it removed from its mounting place once the car is upto temperature, I wouldn't bother TBH.
I believe it opens somewhere around 105-120 degrees oil temp?

cheers. basically unless i take it for a propper thrash it wont open then? im just worried that when it opens it might make my engine oil level and pressure suddenly drop

i did wonder this when i fitted mine but on the road test i got carrried away and forgot lol nothing happend tho
