if i swap my disc brakes from the solid one (the ones for the 1.2 8v) to the disc brakes vented( of a 1.2 16v) will i need to change the calliper too?:S as the vented disc brakes are thicker than the solid ones and i think they dont fit.

Yep, callipers will need to change.
