right anyone know exactly what settings i need to do long exposure traffic shots...

got my camera yesterday and am a new to slr's etc

Went out last night to take some, used the tv setting on a 20 second shutting speed, it wouldnt work and just started flashing as if it was a speed camera!!
rather amusing but i got stopped by the police! and told to move on....

any help would be cool!

what settings etc (iso high or low?)

cheers

low iso and expose for longer. means less noise etc.

set your Fstop to big and use full manual.

just trial an error then

No one can give you exact settings will as we don't know what the light is going to be like where you take the shot.

Low ISO
about F22
then however many secs it takes to expose it how you want it
