Hi, my names Dave. Some of you may know me as binner from ponty cruise.
As you may or may not have noticed, more and more people as they get that bit older and wiser are now doing far more than just attending cruises. The police have come down hard and people are now getting more and more involved with motorsport just like my self, club rallying, drifting, track days ect are all growing in popularity as well as being inexpensive if you know were to look. And that was just the problem, were to look? Yes there are plenty of websites around but they all tend to stick to one kind of racing or one venue so this means searching many sites for things to do. While searching the Internet one afternoon I happened to Google Yorkshire motorsport and to my disbelieve nothing of any real interest came up! So that gave me an idea. www.yorkshiremotorsport.co.uk was born.
THIS IS NOT ANOTHER CRUISE SITE, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CRUISING
This is purely motorsport in Yorkshire and the surrounding counties (notts/derby, lincs)
On the site you can find loads of info, weather you wish to take part or just spectate there will be something of interest to you. Monthly event diary, championship standings and photo gallery where members can register and upload their own motorsport photos. Maps and directions to featured race tracks (donnington park, croft and cadwell park), all the regularly used rally stages are listed with directions and a directory of motorsport clubs in Yorkshire. Our own track day/road rally car plus the ever popular, free to join chat forum. Going forward, if we can get enough interest I am hoping to arrange four track day events each year at the four main venues we cover, Donnington Park, Croft, Cadwell Park and York Dragway.

We are not out to make a name for our self’s, or poach members from other sites, just filling a gap in the world wide web and offering a service to the motorsport fans of Yorkshire.

urm you could look at it that way but, there is far more than just the forum, championship standings, events, track guide, stage guide all with directions ect, motorsport gallery
