Big fucking hammer
Just keep at it.
Easier way to remove it is get it to an exhaust place and up on a ramp, as its easier get a good hammer swing at it then rather than laying down under the car.
But saying that it took a garage an hour to remove the backbox on mine

should come off after a few hammer hits mate.
and you shouldnt fuck it up unless you hit a hole in it.

sweet, that was the thing i was worried about was fooking it up.
Problem is, the pipe from the engine to the centre pipe is like rusty looking, but the centre pipe is fairly new, so i think its binding on the new pipe

loosen all the clamps . try and turn the centre section until the pipe over the rear beam is at its highest point just clear of the floor and then tighten centre section. then line the back box up.
