Ok so i got pissed off and deleted my old thread
so i thought id start again
Currently looking pretty sorry for itself:
but i did clean it today! i had actually forgotten how white it was under all the muck! its also due into a bodyshop where my wing is going to be painted and my post 97 front bumper is going to be fitted and a semi smooth boot should be done aswell, hopefully something like this:
well with a post 97 rear too
also last week i had my nova sr cam fitted to go with the 1.6 inlet, 1.8 throttle body and 1.4 injector fitted previously, really needs a 4-2-1 and decat now so looking to get one from www.tuning.co.uk as my standard one is blowing i thinks. seems to be drinking fuel
i also received a couple of guages from flybikes lee for voltage and oil pressure so those should be fitted too when i get a chance

Did the cam etc make any difference then? I never bothered to fit them into mine when I had it, still have the cam etc though.

So today seeing as it was sunny i decided to do a few bits
i fitted the rears to my bilstein b10 kit, i bought them ages ago but never got round to fitting the back
so out with the old:
And in with the new:
Took literally five mins to do the n/s moved on the o/s and what an awkward badger!! couldnt get the bottom of the spring in place, was just like i could lever the wheel down far enough to flex the rear beam.. granted the rear arb probably wasnt helping but after i found a big crowbar i soon managed to kick it in place
the rear now sits something like this:
i expect it to settle down a little bit too..
I also just fitted a couple of richbrook black door pins, pretty straight forward really but i noticed while the door card and pocket were off that the rubber on one of my speakers has perished so i think im gonna go out and treat myself to a couple replacements later on
i also attempted to sort out my boot solenoid.. however i really couldnt fathom it at all... i think i have a pull and not a push solenoid
