i m looking for a new backbox from the gay factory one, i m not looking for anything that loud, therefore what makes a backbox less loud than another? i m gonna put this backbox on a standard factory cat system

the size of the silencer on the backbox,the size and amount of baffles in the backbox,the size of the exit pipe and how many holes you have in it!

syste size and silencers really.


be like me and get a full ashley comp system, no baffles and one tiny mid silencer along with back box.

i m not looking for a loud backbox. just any recommandation for a twin tail pipe quite backbox please?

If you want quiet, but a non-standard tailpipe, custom is your only option really.

custom its quite costy here in malta lol was thinking about an irmscher twin backbox are they quite on a standard exhaust system?

youve already posted about this before havent you? My advice is to get a standard backbox and a chrome end and be done with it mate.Any aftermarket box will make a different sound to standard and it seems you want a quiet sounding backbox so standard is the only real option.

yeah i did. just going to buy the twin irmschy backbox surely i guess its the most quite option for aftermarket backboxes
