it currently has 9 items in quarantine, one being a "bad" trojan and loads of adware and other virus.
i carnt get rid via the anti virus, have tried ad-aware still get fuck loads of pop ups, crashing , freezing.
instaling avg anti virus at the mo but dont hold no hope for that.
so is there anyway i can get my laptop back to brand new, (like factory) i tryed restore but that wasent working?
any help would be greatly appricated

Put in the back up discs that came with it and they should start automatically.

got it through college and dident get any of that, which is imo why its fucking up with some shit anti virus they gave with it

Recently had to do the same with my PC, had shit loadsa crap on it, trojans and the like and tried a number of programs to get rid and nothing worked so had to format

If you have a lot of malware then it's best to just reformat. If you want to have a go at fixing it, then try these instructions, but otherwise you'd be best off reformatting like everyone else has said, and keep away from the sites that're giving you the nasties

cheers for the help, got it sorted on weds, just took it into college and they formated it, all workin now. got it from limewire, not dodgy sites

Limewire is probably the best way to get an infection on your PC, and any P2P software is bound to get you at some point.
