anyone got it? i downloaded the trial version and its really quite good but because its only a trial the picture has photomatix written over it

anyone know a way of 'getting it'

its only £30 for the license with a discount code from another site. but id rather it be free

basically its a filter that adds texture to the pic 'i think'

you dont need it if you have CS3.

Load CS3:
File > Automate > Merge to HDR

iv been using that but it doesnt seem to have the same affect.

You will need at least three photos with diffferent exposures for the merge to HDR to work.
When it has merged you can go to local adaption and adjust the tone mapping curve. You will need to convert to an 8 bit file to save as a jpeg.

Photomatix is much easier to get looking how you want though. I think I just got a crack for mine from the internet, but for some reason it keeps crashing on vista

Found a link for photomatix tone mapping 1.0. But its in a file with 3.8gb worth of other stuff

I used to use the actual photomatix program instaed of the plug in. Don't know which is better

Yeh, its in a pack with loads of other plugins lol.
