sony ericsson k800i charger wont stay in place unless i hold it there any ideas what might have happened to it?

It broke by the sound of it.
has 1 of the plastic prongs that hold it in place snapped off?

clean the bottom of ure fone using toothbrush as well, helps the contacts but its probably the charger that is at fault!

This happened to mine, used to have to hold it on with an elastic band, just got old and knackered

Mines not the best either, it stops charging with the slightest knock.
