hi there
me and a few friends have decided were going to go to the ring probly the end of august just in the very early stages of planning.
Im hoping that i can get some information off those who have been to the ring,im hoping on some advise on where to stay like bed and breakfasts/hotels that you have stayed at near the ring etc and most importantly directions.we will be leaving from north east of scotland thinking we will have to drive to dover most probly unless there is anything closer
any help would be really apretiated

http://www.nurburgring.org is a good site for info.
If you've picked a good weekend for track (i.e. loads of open tourist track time) then it'll be busy and probably already quite booked up, if you haven't, then whats the point in going when you can't go on track?

Probably now untill end of year their wont be a best weekend to go! Peak season. I would try and go in the week so you get some track time!
