Want to drill my airbox now, but don't have a cold air feed apart from the standard one. Is it worth doing it without a good cold air feed? Will i feel any benifits like better sound or better throttle response? Or will it be worse without a cold air feed? Cheers.

tbh the only thing that will change is the sound. Just do a little bit on the wing side of the box

8v engines don't make that much induction noise, even my 2.0 with drilled box.

i personally wouldn't go drilling my airbox for "sound" cause if you have a small engine it'll still sound small
and if you have a big engine, well it'll be noisy anyway!
