Just replaced the egr valve on my car as it was running like shiit and thats what tec2 said it was but its is still doin it???
its a 1ltr 12volt and has a crappy airfilter on it, at 1500rpm its hunting?
any ideas???

most likely the AFM is knackered.
Is the airfilter a cone one? thats probably caused it if it is.

same on a 1.2 16v

I had a similar problem with my 1.2 16v and it turned out to be the idle control. I changed the AFM and cleaned out and put new gaskets on the EGR but until the idle control motor was changed the problem persisted.
