as above...what belt do i use on my corsa running a redtop with the chris astley pas pump mount?its the only thing i have left to do and its pissing me off

any help much appreciated guys

Go down to your local motor factors and try a few on for size, thats how I found out which one to use. as long as theyre decent guys anyway, they were happy to help and were more interested in the car than how many belts I had tried

sounds like its gonna be my best bet,ive used a front mount fan and moved my rad foreward an inch so i dont melt the pipes...thanks bud

iirc I'm running the same setup with a 800-900mm belt - there or there abouts anyway.

never did check which one it was that fitted, just left it on when it did

get some string, and put it round the pully's, untill it join's up..

messure, and thats the lengh of the belt you need

yeh i know i could of done that...my car is ten miles away from home in a lockup though....so was hoping to just be a lazy twat and pick one up after work and take it with me at the weekend...

TBH you really need to set the adjustment as far as it'll go in the way and measure like you said. Then put it as far out the way as it'll go, measure again.

Take the size that's right in between those two i.e. if it's 600mm for the 'loosest' setting and 1000mm for that 'tightest' you'd go for an 800mm belt.
