Never had any problems when I had XP.
I prefer Vista, has been a lot more stable for me.

I find XP more stable than Vista but personally I haven't found any version of Windows very stable since ME.

Windows ME is possibly the worst operating system they have every created, was terrible and certainly not anywhere near stable.
The advent of XP all but stopped blue screens, they were every few minutes before that, especially with ME.

ME stable I hope that is a pisstake. It's infamous for being one of the worst operating systems MS have ever released. I'd rather have Windows 3.11

I never once had a problem with ME. Clearly it was your computers that were the problem, not the OS.

I know wiki aint gospel but it's just one of many sites that pretty much sum up ME.

Criticisms
Windows Me was criticized by users for its instability and unreliability, due to frequent freezes and crashes. A PC World article dubbed Windows Me the "Mistake Edition" and listed it as the fourth "Worst Tech Product of All Time".[11] "Shortly after Me appeared in late 2000," the article states, "users reported problems installing it, getting it to run, getting it to work with other hardware or software, and getting it to stop running."
The System Restore feature sometimes ended up restoring a virus which the user had previously removed, since its method of keeping track of changes is fairly simplistic.[12] By disabling System Restore, the virus could be removed, but the user lost all saved restore points.

I can't believe somebody who is a 'computer engineer' is trying to tell us that ME is more stable that XP and Vista.
What do you do as a computer engineer?

ME
Wasn't that the OS that technically still ran on MS-DOS?

Me was the first OS that they tried to do away with MS DOS. Wasn't a very popular OS as a lot of users found it to be very unstable. Personally, i found it to run quicker and was more reliable that 98SE. I'm assuming it was down to hardware and drivers.

ME stable LOL.
It was rushed out, thus shite. I have never found a problem with Vista soo far, but then I've only ever run it on a personal level
