Well when i open and close my front doors on my B it makes a horrible creaking noise and sounds like its going to fall off . Anyone had that before? Cheers Scott

Its a real pain in the arse but i dont want to take anything off incase i cant get it back on

get some wd40 and spray the hines and check straps.....,

The pins on the straps are prob worn,easy to replace, but try as above and spray some WD40 on them first

If it creaks but doesnt knock/click then yeah wd40 hinges but if it does then just whack a new pin in, 4 second job. Aslong as you dont drop the pin (mine rolled off down a drain)

lol thats just bad luck, if the pins are warn, you need a shape chisel a hammer and the new pins... So easy

look at the hinge and there is a little metal tube that runs down the middle holding them together... They are your pins

Tbh its more likely to be the pin on the check strap thats worn ive replaced a few in my time easy 2 min job
