Hi there im new to the whole biking thing. I bought an 03 plate sv650s which now has 7k miles on it. This morning i went for a longish ride over the hills, stopped at the top turned the bike off and when i came to leave it would not start. When putting it ready to start the red light does not go out and the starter motor does not even offer to go, fuel still primes. Luckily i was on the hills so suceeded in bump starting it downhill in second gear to get home. The oil levels are fine and the water temp was as normal the whole way home. Has anyone any idea what could be wrong (i'm assuming myself its a new starter motor needed unless something is stopping it from working)?
