is there a way to get the sound from my xbox to my hi-fi?
my hi-fi has phono lead/rca inputs on the back but what do i need to connect the 360 to it?

Either run some RCA leads (red/white) from your tv to your hifi (£1.99ish on ebay).
Or simpler way is to unplug the 360's white/red wires out of your tv and into your hifi. Although, this method will make the sound solely come out of your hifi and not the tv, unlike the first method which would put sound out of both.
