Got some prints done at jessops with them, and i'm not very happy with them Just wanted to know whether it's usual to have prints come back more saturated and redder etc??
Has anybody had problems with them before? The originals aren't very saturated, but they've come out yellow / orange / red!
Original images.....

Did you do them on the kiosk? It should warn some shots might be cropped, if you click on custom order it will show you the area that will be cropped. Just complain dude they will reprint them, you might have to desaturate them a bit. I got some prints done today, I get them half price They seem to come back darker than on my computer for me, but not known them to be redder or more saturated. Weird one that.

did you send them as RGB or CMYK - RGB is screen and CMYK is for print. its not usually a problem but depends how their printers are calibarated.

As said elsewhere, I always use Photobox. When you upload you get a chance to review what they will print, so you get exactly what you tell them you want.

Jessops prints are terrible.
I printed the same piture at Jessops and Photobox to compare and it really was a massive difference. The photobox prints are far more detailed and the colours are always spot on.

I always change to CMYK for printing/ Editing so I know the colour reproduction will be 99% accurate.

Like mentioned, always change to CMYK for print
Also could check the levels once in CMYK and match up to where it starts
Also remember, unless your in a design studio or have a well calibrated screen then it will always be different when it prints. Here at work on my screen (i have one calibrated so its as close to print as possible and one which isn't) i can notice the difference when switching screens, the contrast/saturation is quite high on the folio pics of the baby/parents imo

Had the prints redone now, i'm not one to bad mouth people, but I won't be using them again.
Too white now...
And there's just a blob of colour on the ladies chest... Looks like she's been in tan-tasic for 6 hours.
Oh well, got them changed for free.

Terrible quality.
The whiteness is typical of Jessops prints.

Weird. I mean mine just usually come back overly dark. I might try photobox though, shame cos I get discount at jessops.
