DTL - low output
DTH - high output..
going by vaux's usually engine code's..
D - diesel
T - Turbo
L - out output/supercharging
H - high output/supercharging

Thanks Thinking i have the DTL, as it does shift when you put your foot down, although I reckon there is more to be had from getting the DTH parts together. I couldnt give a rats ass about the emissions though

Get a pic up. The difference it the air hose coming from the turbo. The DTH has an intercooler. So the hose goes round the engine down the right hand side as you look at the engine bay from the front.

The DTL air hose goes straight into the engine. Have a look in my garage at my engine pic for my Astra.

Does the L (low output) mean that the engine's been tuned to give more torque than a normal one, but a bit less horsepower, or am I making stuff up

I think they might because it starts after March 2001, which is probably when Y reg started because before then was X.

And, if Im correct in remembering (cant be arsed to go upstairs and dig out the V5) the emissions is 142g and so the new tax bands would probly beneft me anyway
