It was a last minute thing really, had very few details but went ahead and did the photography anyway.

The whole thing went really well actually, I'm well pleased with the results and I think the couple will be happy when I get the contact prints to them.

I'll post a couple up when i've had a chance to look through them all.

Obviously get rid of the cone and try and bring back detail in the dress as it looks blown.

I shot RAW yeah, always do. The dress is a compressed jpeg so the compression shot the detail out the window. The details all there though, the RAW histogram confirms.

The cone's more difficult, there's not a lot of space to clone around accurately, if the shot gets enlarged and i've edited out the cone, it will just look as shit. It was the first thing I spotted AFTER i'd taken the shots which was a pisser really.

I'm really becoming to dislike jpegs nowadays, they have one thing going for them though, the filesize factor.

Good on ya.

I'd never photograph at a wedding as the sole photographer as I wouldn't want to ruin their image of the day

When your viewing a photo at A3 though thats been edited, you will see the cloning............ got the t-shirt
