So more of a torque increase rather than power?
Was hoping for around 115bhp once I fit the inlet, a stainless exhaust, filter and chip of some sort.

Tips -
1) Buy some 10mm bolts and cut them down for the front two instead of using the shite studs and nuts you get with the manifold originally
2) Buy a 10mm ratchet spanner
3) Make sure you get a new inlet gasket
It's fiddly but not hard.

What thread size for the bolts, any clue? Already got ratchet spanners, just need to phone autovaux for a gasket.

M6 bolts with a 10mm head I think. They MUST have a 10mm head either way.
Best thing to do is take one of the long ones out the front of the standard inlet and measure one up from that.

Ahh right, so I could just use one of the long ones and cut to suit?

If torque increases so does power.

I think they're shanked, if you cut them down there wouldn't be any thread. I might be wrong though, it's been a while since I fitted one.

This bolt?
I had a good look at the inlet, theres the nuts at the back, 2 long bolts on top and 2 short bolts at the front.
Looking at the pictures of the lexmaul, theres only 1 at the front now, none on top and the 3 at the back.
So really im looking to replace the 3 studs and nuts at the back with 3 shorter 10mm bolts?

there are 2 studs at the front of the lexmaul. if I can put the nuts on them then anyone can. takes a bit a time doing it quater of a turn at a time but you get there in the end.

The 3 studs and nuts at the back are fine as they are, the Lexmaul inlet when new comes with 2 more the same for the front 2 holes, however, it's a LOT easier to do it with some short bolts, believe me, I've fitted them enough times
It can be done with the studs and nuts, but if you drop a nut, you're fucked and it's less fiddly IMO to do it with bolts.

remove the inlet, use 2 of the bolts to wind onto the front studs and undo the bottom one, it'll lock against the top on and the stud will come out undamaged.

like Robin says, just use 2 shorter bolts. use the two that are holding the engine cam cover bit on. they work perfectly, and you dont have any of this stud n nut stuff lol. Grab a rachet spanner, put the bolts through the holes on the lexmaul before you put it on, then sit the lexmaul on the manifold, fit your fingers in the little gap to get to the bolts, twist, get the bolts started in the thread then rachet em up tight. had to take mine off a few times now and never had a problem
