what the difference between cam lift and valve lift ?
also is the cam full lift the postion in which the valve is fully pressed down ?

The valve lift is the actual lift of the valve off its seat and is determined by the camshaft profile (cam lift) and the type of follower mechanism employed.

Maximum valve lift occurs when the camshaft profile is at maximum lift.
