so with 17's et45 on a 40mm drop on apex which is usually 30mm do u think i will have problems with 1 person in the back

shouldnt do. are you gunna do anything like cutting the bolts and bumpstops?

will cut the bolts and trim the metal arch thats all i want to do, dont want to play with bumpstops makes it much harder ride
bearing in mind its a 5 door

the bumpstops will only make the ride worse if you have the car sitting on them, this will also fcuk the suspention turrets, there is no need to have it doing this. you only need like 5cm bumpstops. on 60mm springs mine has 8cm travel and the wheel hit after 5cm, so i stuck in 3cm bumpstops, although forgot they copmpress a little so im gonna add another 2cm to em.
5 cm is more than enough

so the longer the bumpstops the, the shorter the travel

yes, upto a point where they are too long and there is no travel. they have em as standard, i just stuck in slightly longer harder ones.

ok thanks i need to carry at least 1 rear passenger if not 2 so will get these at a later date.
how do they fit, is it diy or a garage job
